Depression is one of the hardest things to get over. You feel like nothing is going right, your putting to much of a burden your family and friends. You become sad, tired, not wanting to talk to anyone just to be left along. You keep questioning yourself about the reason why the depression and can even lead to thought of suicide.
But I tell you from my own experience that you can get through this, I did.
With the help of family, friends and my doctors I have made great strides in helping me to get through these times of depression.
- If you have not already done so go to your doctor for help. They may try and help you with medication. They may also refer to a professional psychiatrist for more extensive help.
- You may want to look to TMS treatments or ECT treatments for myself I have had both done and for me the ECT did not help but TMS did. That does not mean it would work for you.
- Find yourself a good counselor that you can talk with about the depression and how you may possible get through it.
One of the things a have tried way first recognize that you are depressed, second tell it there is nothing you can do to fix it and third let it go. This was a big step for me was when I did it there seemed to be a big burden was lifted of my shoulder and I did not have to carry the weight of it. Did not need to know why I was depressed or what I needed to do to fix it.
There are many others that can help with depression so take the time to explore them, I know you will find your way out.
